COTBR

So for those of you who don't know this year I will be riding with a team out of Southern Utah called COTBR "The church of the big ring". Im really excited we are going to be sponsored by the competitive cyclist, enve edge wheels, epic brewing, and a few bike shops in Utah. The team is onsidered on of the best cycling/cyclocross teams in Utah. They have some of the best riders in on their rooster. Im hoping to be able to learn a lot from these guys and make the necessary improvements in order to become a better all around rider. One thing that last season taught me is that I need to work on my sprint. I took second in the Allen Butler race only because I got out sprinted by a guy who sat on my wheel for the entire last lap. I found this video and it has inspired me to ride harder and faster than ever before. Now if I could only get healthy and be able to put the trainer away and ride on the road!

Cheers

BMX meets Road Bikes?

So I stumbled across this the other day and wasn't really sure if this kind of behavior was acceptable on a road bike. After I finished the video I decided why not? What do you think?

Merckx Mondays

I came across this illustration of the legend himself Mr. Eddy Merckx. For those of you who dont know much about Merckx he has 525 total win, 5 tour de france victories and has set more records than any other cyclist. He was also notorious for measuring his saddle height and angle before each race. He even went as far to carry a small measuring tape in his pocket.

Cheers!

The King

So recently I have been listening to a lot of Mr. Presley, and after listening to only his musick for the past week I have realized why he is referred to the King of Rock n Roll. I have this picture of him as my background and its been amazing to see how many people don't recognize who this he is until they read his name on the sign he is holding. Plus I secretly wish I could pull of his hair.

Cheers, and happy Friday

Hello Lurkers

Hey everyone I'm back, sorry I've been M.I.A. for awhile. I figured that the best way for me to win your attention again would be to share a rad video. This year I have set a personal goal to start riding my mountain bike more often in order to help prepare myself for the upcoming road and distant cross season. Plus it looks like a really good adventure and a great opportunity to see some new sights.

Old School Fotos

A few weeks ago one of my friends at school asked me if I would be willing to help him out with his senior project for his photography minor. I told him yeah sure. The objective of his project is to photograph cyclist and their bicycles using a vintage camera. When I say vintage I mean vintage he used one of those cameras that you see in the movies where the photographer has to get under a black cape in order to focus the camera. It was a really interesting and cool shoot. The exposer time for each shoot was between 20-40 seconds that why I’m not smiling. I think that they turned out amazing.

Hope you enjoy!
Cheers.
